Horoscope of the Day

Quickie:What you hope for your future can begin today. Start new plans and create new goals.

Overview:Fun has its place, but right now you need to focus on accomplishments. If you don't, the stars are guaranteed to take you to task. Push yourself on the career front and your efforts will be recognized.

I like this one..."Push yourself on the career front and your efforts will be recognized" So true since I've decided to go back to school to get my master's. I'm actually in the process of mailing off my application this week and doing my financial aid this weekend. And in 1-2 weeks I'll know if I've been accepted or not. And on top of that, I'm still reviewing for one of the APICS test and hopefully I can get certified before the end of this year. If I push myself then I know I can do it.

Bless The Broken Road

I set out on a narrow way many years ago

Hoping I would find true love along the broken road

But I got lost a time or two

Wiped my brow and kept pushing through

I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

Every long lost dream led me to where you are

Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars

Pointing me on my way into your loving arms

This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road

That led me straight to you

I think about the years I spent just passing through

I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you

But you just smile and take my hand

You've been there you understand

It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

Every long lost dream led me to where you are

Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars

Pointing me on my way into your loving arms

This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road

That led me straight to you

Now I'm just rollin' home into my lover's arms

This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you

Heard this over last Friday night and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. First time I ever heard it was on Dawson's Creek not sure what season it was...might've been 4 though. Anyhoo, this song played when Pacey FINALLY kissed Joey on the side of the road when he came to pick her up at some college she was looking at. She kept talking how nothing in her life was working out especially the guys and he finally had it and he pulled the car on the side of the road and he kissed her. Damn I can't believe I remember all that but it was such a powerful scene. He's been in love with her for a long time and he finally found the guts to kiss her and tell her how he felt.

Adventure to Mission Peak

That's right folks...my friends and I are hiking up to Mission Peak. Mind you that none of us are in the best of shape but we are determined to hike up to that peak. Now if that means only a mile or two at least we tried. Hopefully it'll be more than a mile. Go Mission Peak!!!

Insane in the Membrane...Insane in the what?!?!

Ok so for all those people who know me I have just bought myself a new bed. Its freaking big news since I've never bought a bed its always been paid by my parents but this time I made the big purchase myself. But my mom did help me co-sign but nonetheless its in my name and that's all that matters. Anyhoo, I figured this bed was missing something. You can't have an amazing bed without having the accessories. So yesterday I purchased this. Go ahead you know you want to check it out. http://www.furnituremarkdown.com/Discount/Metal+Beds/brittney.html I've always wanted one of these when I was growing up and now I do. Now if in the end it doesn't really go with my whole theme that I'm going for in my room then I can return it within 60 days. Damn with all the flirting I did to get the price down from $500 to $300 is so freaking worth it. So my roommate and I signed the lease yesterday. Our apartment is so close to everything...the gym (open 24/7), the pool, the jacuzzi, and our mailbox. And the best part is having a second entrance/exit in my room. So if I wanted to sneak a guy in they can always go through that door instead of the front door. 22 more days and counting til the "Big Move" on June 7th so mark your calendars.

Another day in the world of a buyer

Cool...who would've thought I'd jump the bandwagon on creating my own blog. Oh great! That's what I get for doing this at work...I accidentally closed the wrong window and all my files got closed...all 15 of them. Argh! That should teach me a lesson. Never have too many windows open cause then it gets all confusing. I guess I better get back to work then...ho hum...
